When visitors leave comments, we collect the data shown in the comments form. We also collect the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string. We collect these to help detect spam.
We create a hash from your email. It’s an anonymized string. We share it with Gravatar to check if you use the service. The Gravatar service’s privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After we approve your comment, the public can see your profile picture. It will appear in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, don’t upload images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). That’s because other Visitors to the website can download and pull out location data from its images.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience. You will not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. When you close your browser, it discards this cookie that contains no personal data.
